Bonnie A. Barsamian Joins Baker Botts

NEW YORK, May 9, 2013 -- Bonnie A. Barsamian, who has extensive experience counseling clients on a full range of capital markets transactions, has joined Baker Botts L.L.P. today as a partner in the firm’s Corporate department. She will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Barsamian’s background crosses a range of industries, including REITs, financial and specialty finance services, media and entertainment and industrial/consumer products.

Barsamian represents issuers and underwriters in the full range of public and private securities offerings and other corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, rights offerings, convertible high-yield and other debt offerings. She also regularly counsels clients in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters, advising public companies and their boards of directors and financial advisers on a range of issues including fiduciary duties, disclosure and leadership matters.

Barsamian earned her J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, where she was a member of The University of Chicago Law Review. She received her B.A. from Amherst College.
